Margaret Moerchen, an associate editor for Science Magazine and soon-to-be Science Deputy at the Carnegie Institution for Science, hosted a DTM postdoctoral workshop entitled "How to Publish in Science Magazine" on Tuesday, 13 January 2015, in the Abelson Collaboration Center.

Moerchen, who received her Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Florida in 2008, laid out the publication submission process each paper goes through at Science Magazine. She took the postdocs inside and out of the process by detailing the role of the editor, who the editors are, and what a successful paper at Science Magazine exhibits.
