DTM Scientists Attended the Brown Dwarf to Exoplanet Connection Conference held at the University of Delaware

On 23-24 October 2014, Alycia Weinberger and DTM postdocs Jacqueline Faherty, Johanna Teske, and Sergio Dieterich attended the "Brown Dwarf to Exoplanet Connection Conference" held at the University of Delaware.

This conference brings together researchers who specialize in atmospheres and formation of both brown dwarfs and exoplanets. During the two-day conference, scientists are invited to discuss the current, future, and overlap status of their fields.  

Faherty was on the Scientific Organizing Committee for the meeting and gave a review talk and panel on, "The Brown Dwarf to Exoplanet Connection by Object"Weinberger gave a contributed talk on the work she was doing with DTM visiting investigator Laura Flagg. Her talk was titled, "MagAO imaging of protoplanetary disks and what lurks within".
