UPDATE: Neighborhood Lecture Series Postponed Amidst COVID-19 Concerns

Coronavirus Update
Thursday, March 05, 2020

We regret to announce that the Spring Neighborhood Lecture Series has been postponed due to growing concerns over the spread of COVID-19. This difficult decision has been made after careful assessment of risks as determined by the CDC and WHO.

The Neighborhood Lecture Series is one of our favorite ways to engage with the community here in Washington, DC. The lectures provide a unique opportunity to explore the world from the perspective of some of the world's leading scientists. The lectures are also an opportunity for us to learn—we are often inspired by the engaging discussion and insightful questions that this community brings to the table.

We don’t want to miss out on these important opportunities and conversations, so we are moving the two lectures, originally scheduled for March 26 and April 16, to our Fall Neighborhood Lecture lineup. More information will be available as we get closer to the date.

In the meantime, we encourage you to stay tuned to our social media channels on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram for any updates regarding these events. You can also watch our previous Neighborhood Lectures here.
